Monday Update: A sneak and how we sew...

Here is a little peek at what will be listed this week...SNAILS! I love this little print by Heather Ross, who is one of my favorite fabric designers, it's part of her Far Far Away line and it comes in a few color options but i picked the snails in apricot because i thought it was a nice gender neutral print and colors. This fabric is a cotton double gauze, and great to work with! This is Holly and i ready to go and sew some shoes last week!

I'm having a great time being a mom to two kids, Logan who is two is such a smart guy and a huge help and Holly is a good baby..even though she does cry quite a bit :) I love when they get a little older and can interact with you more.

Right now i'm pretty busy sewing up two wholesale orders, i have two for a store NY and one for a store in NJ. It's great, and i'm so excited to work with the cute fabrics chosen. Plus i sew orders from my etsy store as well.

New year, new baby, new fabrics!

My goal for 2010 is to remember to blog more! I love reading blogs and i sometimes sit for hours looking at other peoples, but always forget about mine....

Just a little update:
My little shop (http://littlejumpingbeans.etsy.com) is doing pretty well! I have had just about 240 sales in the last year! I'm so happy i can make some money doing something i enjoy so much! Thank you to all my wonderful customers :)

And here are a few fabrics just sitting in the sewing room waiting to be made into some cute shoes! And i have some secret ultra cute Valentines fabric in the mail right now for an Team EtsyBaby January Challenge, where i will be making a pair of Valentines shoes...

We are pregnant and expecting our second child July 2010 :) Logan will be 2 years and a few months when the new baby comes and this time we are hoping for a girl!! I'm feeling good so far!

Review - TinyWiggles - Wash Mitts :)

We recieved our Tiny Wiggles ( http://tinywiggles.etsy.com/ ) (http://www.tinywiggles.com/) wash mitts in the mail a few weeks ago and have been trying them out! And let me say they are amazing! Super soft and cozy and make bath time a breeze!

Logan is always moving so i pop the mitt on and scrub him down, get under his arm pits and behind his ears! When he's a little older he can even wear the mitt and help me clean himself!

When we are all done, i hang it up next to Mommy and Daddys towels and throw it in the wash with the laundry on Mondays :) They wash super easy as well, which is a must for any mom, just throw them in with the other towels and then in the drier! They come out super fuffy :)


Wash mitts by Tiny Wiggles are such a great and usefull item to have! A very practical baby gift for any new mom!

These are my new shoes :)

I have been wanting to make ladies shoes to go along with my baby shoes, maybe like a mom and baby set for the hospital bag? So i have been testing out this pair today, and i have come to see that the bottom is a little short and always feels like it's going to fall off...even though it hasn't, and the snaps on the side are a BAD idea...maybe i sit weird, but hurt like heck when sitting cross legged! So i will tweak the pattern and some up with something even more pefect :)

I bought my son Logan 4 bumJoy's - red, blue, orange and grey and they are just amazing! The colors are so vibrant and the diapers fit great. The snaps are easy to get done up, even with a wiggly 11 month old. I would highly recommend these diapers, they are priced nicely! and what feels better than supporting a stay at home mom so she can stay home with her little one! I haven't used one overnight yet, but i have through a 2 hour nap, and everything went well, she gives you 2 inserts so you can double up!
